Fun sketch, I had many ideas when I saw this but, in the end, pulled out this beautiful Kaisercraft dp. After cutting the diagonal and adhering the dp to the c/s I decided to add the lace anyway - so didn't really need to cut c/s but I guess you can see the ruby colour underneath!! This dp is just as lovely on both sides and was going to use the reverse side ( I used a piece to sit the card on for the photo) but, in the end, preferred to keep it all the same. Stamped the sentiment using marker pens and a bit of huff and puff and thought this glitzy butterfly belonged amongst the flowers on the dp! A quick card to make and TFL!

tis a lovely card, Sue. Though it doesn't look like it was easy peasy! I'd saw elegant and interesting. I especially like the multi hued sentiment. I love that set. And the lace diagonal.

Beautiful creation with the sketch...the paper is lovely, and the added lace gives it dimension. Then you topped it off with one gorgeous butterfly. It looks like it's made of glass. Fav'd
