This is my card for Michelle's VSN challenge - vintage or distressed.
I started out by creating an Acrylic Distress background from the linked tutorial. I used Cerulean Blue and Buff Titanium paints, and a Darice ef, sponging with Vintage Photo distress after sanding.
The base and scalloped oval are dark brown Bazzill. The Chloe die has been on my desk for so long, I think it was heat embossed with clear after inking in brown, and has either Stickles or a distress ep on it.
The bird was also on my desk - I coloured her with Inktense pencils to pick up on the BG Blush papers.
The strip of paper under the lace was embossed with the Square Lattice ef to give it an extra distressed look. The music die-cut was a RAK, I sponged it with Versamark and used Aged Teal chunky ep to make the colours go with my card.
Old die-cut Chloe from desk, Serendipity bird, distressed acrylic background using blue, buff ti paints and brown ink. RAK music diecut embossed with aged teal ep. Lace, Stickles, bird builder die for foliage, BG blush paper, SU lattice ef for brown strip and scalloped mat layer.
I also had in mind, while making this, the current Serendipity Stamps challenge , which is circles and dots. The die-cut bird is my Serendipity element on the card, lots of circles in my distress acrylic.
All the challenges will be found on the master challenge thread which is HERE.

Love the great distressing and vintage feel on this card Sabrina! Super stunning color combination and that lave sure does help give a vintage feel to this one finishing it off beautifully.
