I had so much fun playing along with Karen's TLC575 challenge last week that I used the Distress Marker technique again this week for my monthly Red Rubber Design post. I also used Cathy's gorgeous sketch.
The MISTI was once again invaluable on this. I positioned my stamp on the MISTI, colored the stamp with markers, and spritzed with water. I then scribbled marker on a craft sheet and picked up the ink with an aqua brush and painted my image. For the final step, I colored the stamp again and stamped repeating this step until I was satisfied with the outline.
The way my rose turned out it makes me think of a stitchery!

I have been enjoying all the pretty cards that I have missed in your gallery. Work is hectic and I have been "hit or miss" in the gallery for many weeks. I am so glad that I looked in your gallery....You have made some terrific cards. I love this soft red rose with the water colored bg. You used such pretty dp to frame your gorgeous flower.
