I used nesting dies to make a dimensional mixed media card. I used only white cardstock. I stamped, masked and stamped the flowers. Then I water colored the sky background. I stamped with distress inks with Itty Bitty Background stamp to give so texture to the sky. I put a piece of cheesecloth between each layer. I added extra texture and color to the flowers with prisma colored pencils. I added glitter glue to the centers of the flowers. I looked at my card and realized that my garden was missing something... butterflies. So I stamped some old Layers of Color butterflies with distress ink. I cut them out and shaped them. I added teal glitter to the dots on their wings.
Two of my flowers were "mellow yellow". I hope that is enough of a focal image for the free for all challenge.

This is so very pretty. It reminds me of a wildflower garden against the awesome blue skies of Colorado. Those cheesecloth layers are so perfect and of course, the butterflies complete the creation just right!
