Cathy (cathymac) hosted today's Ways to Use It Challenge, Celestial Sensations. What a great challenge, Cathy!! The challenge was related to the Tuesday's total Solar Eclipse only seen by those in Asia. The challenge is to make a Celestial card that includes a sun, moon, or stars. This is my creation for the challenge.
It has been years since I last used PearlEx Powdered Pigments to create. When I saw the challenge details today, I knew I wanted to pull them out for my creation. Thus, my sky was made with the powders. The card is a Happy Birthday card for my grandson who turns 16 in a few weeks! Love him so much!!!! I hope you enjoy my celestial sensation!

Oh, I bet the sheen and shimmer of this must be quite amazing in real life - I know how hard it is to capture Perfect Pearls, and I'm sure PearlEx is the same. I love your layout with the stars along the edge of the treeline reflecting the ones in the sky.

I don't have Pearl Ex but I do have Perfect Pearls and they have languished neglected for a long time too! What a super idea to create the starry night sky with Pearl Ex! Love your black silhouetted scene!
