This is a great technique to use, if you have paper you don't particularly like and alter it. Run paper through patterned embossing folder, clear emboss twice on raised parts and then ink crevices in black dye ink. Wipe back and you have a totally different look. Add embellishments as desired!

Thanks! It is a really good way to get rid of busy or ugly paper that you don't know what to do with! It can get a little messy, but to ink the crevices, you can just use a makeup sponge clamped in a big paper clip to avoid getting the fingers all black! I have tried other colors and it really changes the look of the background. Fun to play around with!
