The bg is embossed gears. I used Cyndie's octagon template with my MISTI to stamp my running sneakers. Die cut gears on foil paper and used a screw brad to assemble my wheel. Stamped sentiment panels and assembled.

Very clever use of the octagon template. Those red tennis shoes are totally RAD and really set the wheel spinning. Into the Favs it goes!

What a fabulous steam-punky feel this has. I think the repeated sneakers take on an almost abstract quality, it becomes more like a medallion-type image overall, the way I see it. Cool masculine card.
