I think I did it! I'm not very artistic but figured I should be able to make a distress stamp. Thanks to Sabrina's idea, I carved pieces out of a large rubber eraser. Then I stamped it on black with unicorn white ink. I tried to make it like a designer paper background. Since its black, I made it a sympathy card. Hope this counts, even though my carving was not very artistic!

I think you made a wonderful stamp that will be useful for future cards as well. Good job. I can totally see it being used like a brick background or a walking path, too.

Oh, that turned out really well, Kathy! Shame on me, my erasers are still sitting beside me on my desk. I think you could stamp in red and these would like like bricks - and they also remind me of my antique set of dominoes. Well done you!
