This is my card for Sonja's challenge MAR16VSNC Turn Up the Heat. I made my background using the heated pearls technique. It's very easy and makes a wonderfully textured background. Although, it's hard to get a good photo because of the reflection.

LOVE IT! Especially how you cut out with scallops and then inset with smooth circles, so much to draw the eye and then all those iridescent colors popping all over! Just fabulous. Thanks for making such a great sample for my challenge.

Oh, I do love this technique, it always looks fab and it's a shame that it's hard to show how beautiful it is in a photo. Mind you, I think you did a great job because it looks pretty stunning already on screen.

I love your colors! You did a fabulous job with this technique. I would have to buy a few supplies in order to give it a go. But after seeing your card, I may have to go shopping soon. Thanks for the inspiration!
