The Clean & Simple Challenge, CAS364 - All About Love - 2/15/16, was to use the letters in the word LOVE for the elements in the card.
Here are the LOVE elements for my card:
L - layers. This card had LOTS of layers. In fact, it has so many layers that I had to upsize the width of the card just to make everything fit!
O - oval aperture and ocean theme
V - vellum sentiment tag
E - embossing. The coral wood and sentiment are heat embossed.
The watercolor background was made using the Smooshing technique with distress inks on a craft mat. To achieve an underwater look I smeared Tumbled Glass, Broken China & Faded Jeans distress inks on the craft mat, spritzed with water and smooshed some hot press watercolor paper in the ink. After it dried, I splattered it with water drops to create water spots.
Since the theme of the CAS364 challenge was LOVE, I decided I would add a special "dessert", and make it a love themed card. This is an anniversary card for my dear hubby. Happy 39th, Sweetie!
Thanks for stopping by and looking at my LOVE card!

Wow! This is fabulous. Love the window view into the underwater world. Reminds me of the submarine ride at Disneyland. The background is awesome and a perfect backdrop to the silhouette coral. The extra water drops add just the right touch. The sequins do look like bubbles like Robin said. Love, love the sentiment and how you put it on velum. Amazing card. Into my favs! Happy Anniversary!
