Birthday card for my artist nephew combining both Monday challenges.
TLC573 is to use good old embossing resist. I used white EP and sponged ink over the sentiment.
CAS364 is all about LOVE, use something that starts with each letter!
L-lavender (that's what we're calling the purple color, even if it's a bit dark...)
O-original (in the sentiment)
V-vellum (inspired by reading my labels on my craft drawers)
E-embossing resist (thanks Joan)
I was inspired by this card by mrupple, turned it to use the insets from the card I made for IC532. Be An Original by mrupple at Splitcoaststampers
I used spatters, I don't have swipe stamps. I used the triad colors for purple, to get in my L element. I really like how the vellum looks as the bristles.

This is just the coolest card. Great colors and the vellum for the paint brush bristles is so clever.

You may have taken the idea from mrupple, but you definitely made it your own! Delightful card for a young artist. I especially like the vellum bristles on the brush.
