Used the embossing folder stamping technique for the background (love this technique!). This technique does tend to cause warping of the card stock with all the water that's added, so this time I embraced that warping and enhanced it by tearing all four sides of the card front to create a bit of a grunge look.
Didn't want to cover up the pretty background, so just added two simple sprayed die-cut hearts and a stamped sentiment.
Only adhered my card front to the base in the middle so that the sides are loose, creating a bit of dimension without having to add pop-dots.
Several challenges in blogland right now for Valentine's / hearts cards, and I'm entering about six! (all details on my blog)

Oh, Loll, your card is so great! Just lovely. I like the grunge aspect to it even though you didn't mean to do it, but it works so well. Thanks for the details on this.

This is stunning. I do hope I find this Embossing Folder Stamping technique in the resource page. I am excited to try this. I love that you made the edges looked distressed due to tearing the sides. Great card!!!!

Outstanding, Ms. loll. Love your EF technique and the floating airiness of your design. I bet your DH is really going to appreciate your skills with this one.
