This morning's Free for All challenge to make a guy Valentine was just the push I needed to make my son his Valentine. Not that he cares - he's 28! :-) I used the SC578 sketch with some modifications but all the layers are there. The banners are made of washi tape fitting the WT569 challenge to 'Tape it Up'. This little stamp was probably last used more than 20 years ago.

That froggie is just so cute. I bet your son would notice, though, if you didn't give him a valentine card.

Ann, you made a cute valentine for your son....and covered all those challenges too. I don't think our children are ever too old not to appreciate a valentine.

A twenty year old stamp? You mean your son was 8 when you purchased it? Wow, those suckers hold up way better than I do. You're right: 28 year old guys couldn't care less about valentine cards. I think the only thing they're hoping to find inside the envelope is money. Despite knowing all that, you soldiered forward and made a great card. Pretty neat that you covered more than one challenge, too, my friend. It's really totally masculine and great use of that vintage image, too.
