I made this card for Dina's Mix-Ability Challenge Mix157. She challenged us to watercolor with COFFEE! It was a little tricky, seeing how I don't watercolor and did not have instant coffee (I had a few coffee grounds issues). I love the look and richness of the coffee as I added multiple layers to darken and shade the image. I will definitely give this technique another try.

That's such a cute digital image you used. I haven't tried that technique but it sounds like fun.

Melissa, this is a lovely scene and lots of brown 'painting'. I haven't tried this as I don't drink coffee and don't have any in the house, but I bet that it smells heavenly to a coffee drinker. Or does it not keep the smell?

Melissa, this is gorgeous! Not a coffee drinker, but would love to give this a try! I love the fact that you used a tiny paintbrush and a small paintbrush...
