This is my sample for CC568. Vicki is our hostess and she chose soft sky, basic gray and so saffron as her color trio. Dessert is to use scallops.
My card is using elements from the Stampin'-Up July 2015 Paper Pumpkin kit. This Pinterest card was my inspiration.
I changed the kit card by using basic gray as my base color. I also added some soft sky dsp on the card base.
On the image panel I used confetti celebration dsp and cut a flag with an MFT die. The striped layer is part of the kit as is the gray background dsp.
On my teacup I stamped a flourish in soft sky. The sentiment is from the SU set "a nice cuppa". finished my card by adding some Perle twine and a few soft sky hearts.
Hope you can play along with us this week. Check out the other DT samples for more inspiration.

Love how you accentuated the basic gray Mary - kind of the opposite of my card! I love all those great papers layered on eachother and your chic little cup of tea! I really LOVE this card!!
Wow! I love how you used the colors on your card! Love the two little blue crescents on your layer. I love how you added the yellow with twine! Great pattern on the tea cup! So sweet!

Love how all your different design elements work so well together, Mary! And I especially love the flourishes on your teacup and the pop of color with the yellow bow!

Mary, your card is wonderful in so many ways! Love the variety of patterns, between the dsp in the background, banners and the stamped tea cut. The sentiment is so fun and the twine the perfect pop of yellow!

Mary, I always like to see the original and creative ways you use the materials in the Paper Pumpkin kits. Such cute touches with the perle cotton and the little hearts. Very pretty card!
