Leave it to Dina to come up with a new medium...coffee. I've been busy learning many, many new things about water coloring from the online class for intermediate painting this week. It is a wonderful class filled with a great amount of information. This week our family lost a young dear friend, my way of coping was to make a card for her Mother. Started my stamping the flower with so saffron...coloring with the coffee, and adding watercolors, along with the leaves. Added the sentiment. Thanks for looking, and remember to hug that precious friend or family member this week. Life is precious.

What a beautiful card and I know it will be greatly appreciated by the recipient. Using the coffee was a fun idea and turned out looking so fabulous! Love it.

Beautiful card, Linda. Your coffee colored flower is stunning. I also lost a dear friend this week, and have been struggling with making sympathy cards for her family. I'd forgotten about this sentiment... it's perfect. Thank you for sharing.

I am so sorry for your loss. Life is indeed precious yet we continue to take it for granted. I am confident Kerri's mom will see your card as comforting. Your sentiment is so appropriate and your coloring will speak to her heart as it did mine.

Your artful talents never cease to amaze me, Linda! I'm surprised to learn that you are taking lessons - you should be teaching. This is a gorgeous card and such a wonderful tribute to your young friend. My heartfelt sympathies to you and all those mourning her loss.
