Sabrina (Cook22) challenged us to get more use out of our stencils by using one to dry emboss. I used the Mini Numbers Stencil on watercolor paper, then did a color wash with Brushos and added more color the the 9's on my piece by adding more wc powder to the numbers and letting it run to cover them. I stamped the balloons, punched them and then added Crystal Effects, let them dry overnight and tied the thread to them. I used various yellow Brushos on another piece of very wet watercolor paper, dried it with my heat tool, stamped the chick and fussy cut him. I used dimensionals to attach the baloons and the chick to my background piece.

What a sweet and special card. Embossing the numbers and accenting the birthday being celebrated is a super way of making it so personal, and I love the way you coloured it after embossing. I was hoping to get time to try that. The little chick with the bunch of balloons is just so sweet, too.
