Mary is our hostess this week. For her Color Challenge, she has chosen Mint Macaron, Strawberry Slush and Early Espresso, with a dessert option of a non-traditional color valentine.
I think I might qualify for a teensy serving of dessert, as this card could be used as a Valentine. In truth, though, I made it for our daughter's birthday. The sentiment in the shaker window says, "let your day be sprinkled with fun." And since I love my daughter, this card qualifies for last Friday's Free For All.
I stamped the figure on Tim Holtz Watercolor paper with Versamark Black Onyx ink, sprinkled with clear embossing powder, and heat set. I cut out the figure with my Silhouette Portrait and PixScan mat. Then I used my Zig Real Brush Clean Color markers and a waterbrush to color her.
I cut a circle frame from glitter paper with a MFT pierced circle frame die, and made a shaker card. The background embossing folder is from Darice.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

Such a fun card, Barbara - she is a fabulous focal image and a shaker card is always so fun - who can resist all those fun sparkly sprinkles! Thanks too for all the kind comments that you write on my cards - they are much appreciated!

I'd kick up my heels too. What a cute shaker card with this weeks challenge colors. Personally I think it could be used for either BD or Valentine's. How about a Valentine BD card! Yup, that's just the ticket. Great card!
