This is for 2 new challenges & one 'older' F4A that I didn't get to. I can't believe it's Jan. 25 & most of the snow is melted from our near 50 temperature & sunshine today! I was even able to photo outside, but missed the sun.
TLC - Sabrina asked that we emboss with a stencil. It doesn't show, but it's there - I promise. I sandwiched the A plate, tan mat, stencil, B plates with a cardboard shim in the cuttlebug.
CAS - Julie asked that we put a sweet treat on our card. Yummm - a cupcake!
F4A - Shirley asked that we use new unused stamps stashed away. I can't even tell you how long I've had the TT set & this is the first ink any of the stamps have seen!
I think if I do the stencil embossing again I will try to add another shim. I had taken the stencil off to see how it embossed & knew I wouldn't get it in the right place again. It is visible to the eye, it's a very subtle embossing & I like the look.
Thanks for stopping by.

Terrific CAS b'day card, Karen. I really like your sentiment.....especially for us of "certain age". Love the sparkly gold candle for a golden ager. : )

That's a good motto for birthdays, cause I'm not sure that any cake can hold the number of candles for my age! LOL! I'd much rather count my blessings instead! Love your card, my friend!
