My central panel is a heart rather than the rectangle in the sketch for today's challenge, and it's a big bigger in size than the sketch is drawn; I flipped the sketch for this card. I layered strips of coordinating dsp on a square of cardstock and then die cut the heart shape; popped that up over the embossed layer and added a sentiment panel to the sketch TFL

Being done on a Kraft base and the DP patterns you chose, your valentine has a warm and homey feeling....like folk art, Claudia. It also makes a terrific card for the man in your life.

I love your kraft base with embossing, Claudia, and the "Manly" heart with different patterns of paper! That is such a cool way to create a masculine Valentine heart and card. TFS.

Great take on this sketch! I just love when I see someone combined totally different design papers together that shouldn't really match but pull it off to look so good like you did here!!
