A second card for this week's S2S16C challenge....to use a previously unused embossing folder. I inked the wrong side of the folder with Ranger Distress ink in peeled paint. In trying not to ink any other part, I missed a bit of the flourish and filled some of it in with a pencil crayon, but it didn't exactly match, so I gave up on that. I used a border punch for a strip of cs to glue to the lower end of the white panel and then affixed the panel to the dark olive cs.

This is really cool. I imagine it would be tricky to "ink up" a detailed embossing folder like this one without inking an unwanted area. I would have to practice quite a bit. I think you did great for this being an unused folder and unfamiliar to you. I like how you added the trim at the bottom and put a sentiment in the middle. It's a keeper even with some un-inked or faded areas. Perhaps an embellishment could be used over that area. That's what I usually do. Thanks for sharing this awesome technique and your card.
