The inspiration for today's challenge was "artistic envelopes" from Audrie's Pinterest board. I don't usually make corresponding envelopes for my cards....but maybe I will in the future. I chose a card that I had previously made and used the same stamp for the envelope. I was inspired by this photo.
I first applied some white acrylic to the flowers and then came back in with reinkers used like watercolors to add color.

I wouldn't be able to send something this pretty through the mail...I would want to frame the envelope. What a gorgeous duo. Your talent shines on both pieces.

Sure hope this envelope is "Handled with care" - it is as beautiful as your card - going to be some REALLY impressed postal workers checking out this beauty!! Your work always astounds me!!

Oh wow Sallie, this is beautiful!! I love it on the kraft color envelope done with white paint and then colored. I would have to frame the card AND envelope! What a gorgeous painting job yo always do especially on flowers!!!
