I have not been buying craft supplies for the past 2 years, but sometimes you just can't pass up a bargain. This pretty angel was on clearence for $1.99 at Mikes and my brain yelled "go for it!" I started out making a card for the MMTPT challenge to comfort Sue. She lost her husband after 40 years of marriage and needs cards offering encouragement and comfort. Then I saw this week's CC colors and decided to stretch (think Gumby) my abilities and make a card with black, red, and white...really different from my usual cards that look like an entire box of Crayola crayons melted on my card. When I was 10 this really happened on a summer driving trip passing through Needles Arizona, when I left a spilled box of crayons on the car seat when we got out of the car to go into lunch. Back to my card...since this is the first time using this stamp I included it in the F4A challenge. IRL there us gold glitter glue everywhere.

Francie, what a beautiful angel! It looks like something from a Russian or Greek icon. Way to go using such a complex image for the colour challenge. The text background is a fab setting for it. I love all the sparkle.
Needles, isn't that where Snoopy's brother Spike lives?

Francie, your card is beautiful. I love every detail you have added to it. I also loved your story about the melted crayons. A funny childhood memory, atleast now it can be funny. Back then, probably not so much. Thanks for playing the F4A challenge.

Red, black, and white ... one of my favorite color combos. I love your angel and the stickles look super scattered about your card.

You can do any color girl This is very pretty with the added gold and red bling. We are very fortunate that we have a stamper...being you show us that using the whole box of crayons makes happy cards. Take a look at this challenge gallery...in some shape or form you have influenced the use of vibrant colors. I thank you for using the whole box. Fav'd
