I am away at the moment with very limited craft supplies but I did bring my Brushos and the tutorial (online version) and a DVD from Spectrum Noir and the markers.
I had a heap of fun making the background with Brushos and colouring the little houses with the markers, especially knowing they were going in a book - I can be a bit more weird knowing it is not going to be a card.
I was surprised at how well the Inktense pencils and Prismacolour pencils go on so easily over the Brusho watercoloured background.
I have taken the photo with my iPad, so I am not sure how well this will work. Thank you for looking.
Edit: The houses and hearts were fussy cut and adhered to the background using kids school glue.

Love this! Magical looking. Did you do the houses directly on the paper or cut them out and add them? Love, love, love it. Trying to figure out how I can do this technique in my Journaling Bible..... Hugz!

Wow, I love the vibrant color. I've never used brusho, I bought the color burst, but haven't used it yet. I'm wondering if I made a mistake after seeing this, as this brusho looks great. I don't have a camera and have to use my iPad or my phone. I think your picture looks great.

Such Enchantment!!!!! This is SO You...and SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Fantastic background...it just pulls you in and makes you feel a part of this quirky little land. The arches in the bg make me feel this is an amusement park (maybe you call it something else...carousels, ferris wheels, etc.). All the little buildings are so intriguing and completely Spectacular! This looks like a land I would Love to visit. I'm sure all the people there wear smiles.

Susie - you have created a fairy tale village any little girl would love to be a princess in. Hope you are somewhere cool - and not in this blazing heat - though today is enough to drag out the winter woollies again - 39c - 8c overnight is a big shock to the system. Keep creating and looking forward to the next little wonderland creation.

Love the colours and the magical feel to your pictures. Great as always despite limited supplies. Hope you are away for a good reason, and enjoying yourself.
