Hypolimnas Bolina - Common Eggfly
I took this photo at the Buttefly Garden within http://www.mos.org as it landed on a man's shirt. The foreign scratch ticket and postal stamp were found online.
To create the green background I squirted the alcohol inks onto my Ranger Non-Stick Craft Mat, then misted the glossy paper with rubbing alcohol and laid it on top of the inks, swirling and lifting to create the patterns. The Canson paper was such a wonderful texture and with the new Distress Ink color, it really looks like his shirt! I also edged the photos by rubbing them with an emory board.
