Well not having anything that even remotely resembles a calendar, I decided to use my new Timeless Textures set to at least give a vague impression of a calendar. I stamped my background graph image in So Saffron. I then used the dots from the same set and stamped them in So Saffron as well. I then stamped my image in Black Stazon and colored with my SU markers of Strawberry Slush & Gumball Green. I then stamped my sentiment on the side in Black Stazon as well. After matting on Strawberry Slush and adhering to my cb, I added some So Saffron pearls to my image and on the side of sentiment. Now it will be off to Kansas to hopefully bring a little cheer to a lady who recently lost her husband. TFL ladies.

Mary this is simple delightful! I love the soft image that you chose - and the gentle elegance that your pearls add to it. The femininity of the floral spray contrasted with the graphic BG is such a lovely paradox. Your sentiment is perfect. Sue is going to love this! Thank you so much for coming to her Teaparty! You've earned your extra cookies, so I hope that you grabbed a bunch...hugs from NJ my friend!

Great looking set for adding texture. Quite apart from your intention to pick up on the calendar, it makes me think of coarse linen or canvas for embroidery, and looks great with the dainty floral image.
