I just received this Stacked Star die from Classy Cards N Such and couldn't wait to use it. I still need to send a couple of more (late) Happy New Year cards so it was perfect for them. I had these scraps of silver card stock that was needing to be used and it looks great with the Super Metallic Gold card stock which is also from ClassyCardsNSuch.com.
Okay I lost less than an ounce from my bags of scraps for this challenge, I would need to make about 500 cards to make a big dent in them.

Oh I am so with you on using up bits from my scrap bags when we find a great card and only use a small portion...oh it does seem to hang around a bit longer. Beautifully done on this super stunning 2016 Happy New Year card.

Oh, I think lots of us could identify with having so many scraps...and why do we keep them when sometimes they are so small that they are hardly worth it!! But even in my less frugal book, metallic ones are always worth holding on to, and you've certainly proved that here.

Like you, I lost less than an ounce, too. My ribbon is overflowing. Ha
I love these stars and they look great in black, silver, and gold. Great Happy New Year card, Shirley.

A fun Happy New Year card, Shirley. I love the gold and silver color combo. I have so many scraps, I can hardly close the drawer they are in. I sure identify with you.

Ha, your craft room may not have lost much weight, Shirley, but the scraps you did use look terrific - this is a wonderful celebration card and I just love gold and silver together!
