This is another one for the TLC Challenge to stamp with something other than a stamp. I already did a card today, but when I walked by a piece of wrapping paper on the table, I had an "aha" moment. I could stamp with that! I crumbled up the wrapping paper, pressed it into the ink pad and tapped it on the cardstock to create the background. Then I grabbed this silhouette stamp for the middle. Unfortunately, I smudged the embossing powder on the sentiment under the girl and did not emboss clearly. Fortunately, that unplanned fumble gave me the idea to cover it up with a "happy" sentiment strip for the CAS Challenge to use the word happy. The strip reads: "happy today, happy tomorrow, Happy Everything". I glued the left side of the strip, then curled it up slightly and attached the right side, so that it is raised in the middle. A couple candy dots for the attached look. I'll be using the wrapping paper idea again; it was so easy and created such an interesting background. TFL

It did create an interesting background! Reminds me of years ago when people were scrunching up plastic wrap and daubing it into paint and then onto their walls - that looked cool, too! I love the carefree image and the way your sentiment flag seems to be rippling in the breeze.

I could never have guessed in a million years that your background was created with scrunched up paper!! It looks amazing and it fits in with your image & sentiment perfectly!
