Staying in from the Crappy Weather, so I had to do a second CC card! LOVEEEE this colour combination.
This card was created for Ken, the man that delivers our Newspaper. He is a very special guy and my dog Sydney is his greatest fan. Every day she pulls us to the mailbox to get the paper. Nah, she can't read but Ken kindly leaves two or three treats for her in there!
Sadly, Ken was hit head on in his vehicle by a drunk driver right before Christmas. He is still in the Hospital as his leg was broken in two places, he has several broken ribs and he has had two strokes while in the hospital. If you're reading this; please keep Ken in your thoughts and prayers.
As for Sydney, she's not quite sure what's going on. Whoever is delivering the paper now is throwing it in the driveway (much to the annoyance of my father) and there are no treats in the mailbox.
I've added a second photo with the interior of the card. Ken has a great sense of humour. so I hope he will enjoy the card

So sorry to hear about Ken. He sounds like an amazing guy. I will keep him in my prayers.
You have created an adorable card for him. I think it will cheer him up.
Very special card, Vicki! I'm sure Ken will appreciate your thoughtfulness! Hopefully he'll be back to delivering the paper ASAP and Sydney will once again enjoy the trip to the mailbox!

Aw, now I see that my previous comment was for the inside of this adorable card. Having read your story of Ken, I'll add him to my prayers - what a terrible thing to have happened, so sad : (

Adorable card and one that is sure to bring comfort and cheer. I like how the clouds are hovering over the sad dog's little house. Great use of the colors. How nice of you to make a card for Ken. He does sound like a special guy. Thanks for sharing your card and story.
