During Hope You Can Cling To I won a generous $100 gift certificate from Chameleon Pens. This is my second coloring project since I received them right after Christmas. When I saw the CAS challenge to use our birthday to pick 3 colors on the color wheel and saw Turquoise, Olive and Green were my colors, I thought of coloring some sort of blue flower. I was too lazy to go down to my stamping area to pick out an image so I decided to Google flowers and then draw some. I used an Iris coloring page as my image to copy. Once I'd penciled my flowers, I took up my pens and started coloring. This is just 3 pens and a colorless blender! Love how the pens work to give you the variations of color. You'd think after all that effort I'd have been extra careful with my sentiment, but I was in too much of a hurry this morning and stamped that sentiment completely crooked....ARGGGH! So I cut the top and bottom more in line with the angle of the stamping and hope that the diagonal/tilted look works somewhat.

Well, I am impressed with your hand drawn flowers. So lovely. Like the angles going on, and honestly, I wouldn't have noticed the 'crooked' sentiment. Great balance of color. How nice for such a generous prize.
