Congratulations Pat (pvilbaum) on becoming our newest featured stamper. I enjoyed looking through your lovely gallery. I needed a birthday card for my grandson, Austin, who is turning 5 next month. This is the card that inspired me Monster Mash
I used a Dracula image, kept the card fairly CAS.
I stamped the Crazy Bird image with stazon jet black ink onto water colour paper. Masked the image. I inked up the numbers embossing folder with Bashful Blue ink. Layed the inked side over top of the masked image panel and pressed onto paper. It left a light blue outline of the numbers. Coloured the bird image. The image was stamped twice. Cut out the wings, beak and largest eye, coloured these and popped them up. I stamped the party hat and balloons. Coloured the images and cut them out. Embossed the backsides of the hat and balloons to give them dimension. Popped them up. I drew in the lines for the balloon strings. Coloured the two number "5"'s light purple. Austin is going to be 5 years old. Stamped on the Happy Birthday sentiment. Added the rhinestone to the hat and Stickles to the yellow polka dots on the party hat, and the sentiment. Images was matted with purple and black and I sewed around the edge. Finished the inside of the card.
Enjoy your time in the spotlight.
Hugs..Pat
