This is my third card for Lydia's Russia vsn challenge.
I had coffee with One4Joy (Susan) yesterday. What an adventure! Vero Espresso in Eugene, OR. Destination caffeine.
After, we visited a favorite shop for paper tricksters and found these lovely authentique 6 x 6 pads. We immediately thought of Lydia's blue/gold challenge, and offered a challenge to each other to use these papers.
I'd intended to do some gold heat embossing over this pattern, but opted out. It's lovely and intricate as it is, and I wanted to stay inside the time limit. Hard to do with a popped up frame. So, I limited my gold to zig edges, and the intricate behavior is the framing.
The psx image was found in another of Susan's favorite haunts, the artists' materials exchange. MECCA. Susan calls it a garage sale for artists. More like a treasure hunt! I'd never been there before-- Wow.
I have a peace dove wind vane atop my garage pergola.

Wow, gorgeous paper for the background of your beautiful dove image. Love the blue and white color combo. Sounded like a fun stamping stuff outing with Susan :-) TFS my friend.

I'm glad you left off the gold embossing - I think it's gorgeous as it is. What wonderful rich blues and patterns, and just the right amount of gold from the metallic pen.

What a presence this card has in the Mother Russia gallery! I love the balance of the best paper in the pad (grin) with that wonderful PSX image. So pretty. I'm calling it a draw...what's our next challenge?
