I love making cards with this technique - you never know what your papers are going to look like. I wanted my flowers to be darker so I sponged on some Cream Chalks.
This card is for the Current DRS Designs Challenge which is a color challenge - some gorgeous blues, purples and silvers - you should check it out. It is also for this week's WT562 which is to add bling - I have bling in my ribbon which is full of glitter and sparkle.

This is like a breath of summer with your hydrangea hued paper/flower. Beautiful, Nancy. I especially like the scale of all your elements and the big bold glittered ribbon. I am thinking Vivian Leigh would rip that right off your card and use it as a headband, being the Southern girl she portrayed!

Thar sparkly ribbon is the perfect way to set off your purple and blue flowers - they look gorgeous against the muted colors on your background piece! You sure did put a spin on "Christmas " colors with this fabulous card!! HUGZ!
