First I need to say Congrats to Laine on being featured stamper. You have a delightful gallery, and so far...small enough that even I had time to see the entire thing and I love them all. This is the card I picked:
I loved it to pieces, but as soon as I started, I found it to be harder than I thought it would be, so although I was very inspired by the wonderful dress, I found this hard. So I have changed most everything on the card and made a much simpler version.
I used a stamp that I made from the Tim Holtz tree die, and I stamped it on the edge several times to get the Christmas tree. I added jewels to the tree in two colors. My attempt to make the wonderful dress came out pretty good, but I only managed to get two layers. Laine, yours is just gorgeous and I am very impressed. I first stamped the dress, then cut out and brayered two layers of the bottom and popped them up. It turned out better than I expected and took more days than I expected too.
Kudos to you, Laine, for a great card. I am honored to attempt one like it.

Lovely card. Your dress came out really well.
And a good lesson to me. I might look at the dress, and think wedding. It totally works as a Christmas dress! I have to push past initial thoughts at times.
