Misti (Scraperwannabe) is taking us to our first destination, Zambia. The colours of Misti's inspiration photo are shown here. I used a large acrylic block and swiped pink distress ink across the top, yellow and orange across the middle section and grey across the bottom of the block. Lightly spritz with water, then place a piece of hammertone cardstock on to the block and rub hand over the cardstock to adhere the colour.
Dry with heat gun, stamp on the Inkadinkado branch and unity sentiment. Mount onto a hammertone cardbase - doodle border - job done.
I hope you are taking part in our fabulous virtual trip, you can view the Around The World In 80 Days Master Challenge Thread HERE.

Susie, what a brilliant take on Misti's challenge. My acrylic block stamping never turns out looking that good, no matter what I try. This conveys such a sense of peace to me.

This is fabulous! Great technique. You've created the waterfall in watercolors. Love the doodles around the edges. Wonderful sentiment! Very nicely done. TFS

Thank you for describing the technique. I have never done one with applying the color to acrylic block. I need to try this soon. You have such mastery of elements - soft ombre blend, crisp doodles, stark silhouette, and the elegant texture of the hammertone paper. Fabulous.
