A big congrats to Laine, the newest Featured Stamper! After much browsing, I chose THIS to case. I kept the fun layout & layers, but used different images & made mine a Christmas card.
After stamping it w/ Memento, I colored it w/ Copics then over stamped using Versafine. It was die cut & I added a kraft colored mat & some stickles. I also stamped, colored, over stamped & fussy cut 3 trees from the Winter Farm image & added them in the lower right corner. After adding a couple more layers, the Merry Christmas was stamped underneath the image. I had a leftover strip of green houndstooth dp that I thought fit right in, so it was attached down the left side. The large bow was die cut & embossed w/ a dot folder before adding a holly brad in the center & attaching to the card.
Congrats again, Laine! Closeups, the inside & Copic colors are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Beautiful, Julie! I was just looking at this stamp this morning. I know I couldn't use it as beautifully as you have. You always add those extra bits of embellishments that make you cards so special.

Wow what a beautiful Christmas card!! After seeing your cute tree farm image, it so reminded me of the tree farm we have on the edge of our town...even has the same fencing!! Love how your trees are spilling out of the frame...nice touch!
