hi there,
Congrats to Laine Webb aka Crafterlaine for being the FS this week. Her gallery is a real delight and here is the gorgeous poinsettia card I cased: Poinsettia by Crafterlaine at Splitcoaststampers
I changed the die cut poinsettia to a stamped one and used watercolouring with Brushos instead of using the vellum.
The poinsettia panel is stamped, masked then cut out so it could be glued just in the corner and the leaves could be lifted for a raised look. To pull it all together, I scored a border then stamped the sentiment and added the black pearls.
thanks for looking,

This is beautiful, Karen!
I could use your help with watercolors, and stamps. I find die cuts super easy, because I can lay them out until I get an arrangement I like. Watercolor and stamps are unforgiving 'cause you can't move them.
