This is my card for CC559. Barbara is our hostess and she chose, hello honey, rose red and garden green. Dessert is Christmas. I substituted purely pomegranate for the rose red and used smoky slate, browns and black for neutrals this week.
I made a little indoor fireplace scene for my card. The fireplace and accessories are a new die set from MFT. Saw several cards on Pinterest and used them for inspiration.
I cut the fireplace in smoky slate and used the MFT brick wall stencil and sponged in smoky slate.
The mantle greenery is a die from Impression Obsession and the pomegranate leaves are in place of a bow. I didn't have a bow die small enough.
My background "wallpaper" is some retired Stampin'-Up Christmas paper. I used a Spellbinders die for the look of a white baseboard. The "wood floor" is some dp from my stash.
That's my card for this week. Hope you can play along with us. The colors and dessert give you a chance to get some Christmas cards done.

What a warm, welcoming card, with its fire blazing in the fireplace. This reminds me of when my kids were small and we had 4 stockings hanging. Such a pretty card!

This is so heart warming for a Christmas card...love all the tiny, tiny details. You have some very nimble fingers. The wood and brick look so real. TFS

It snowing here, so your fireplace looks awesome. I wish I was sitting in front of it with a cup of coca. Cute stocking hanging from the chimney. I stuck in mittens. I might follow your lead and start on stocking. Your card is adorable.
