I saw this idea in the Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine from the UK issue 148 October issue. Because I made 11 of these for family & close friends, it was labor intensive, but they loved it. I die cut all the houses out of the brown paper & then die cut them again in the red & green for roofs & doors. I searched in the computer for Christmas images & sized them to fit in all the doors & windows. I die cut the number squares from PTI & hand printed the numbers on them. #24 has Santa behind the window & #25 shows the Nativity. I added snow to the roofs & trees. With SU Holiday Home stamps, I stamped & cut out a gazillion (may be a slight exaggeration) sleighs, snowmen, strings of light, (lights colored with SU markers) & lampposts. I accordion folded two strips of white paper as snow background & adhered everything to the strips. Also added yellow paper behind some of the windows. Because it looked a little messy on the back, I then cut out MORE houses to adhere to the back to make it cleaner. WHEW! It was a labor of love. Furthermore, they got them before Dec. 1st! Now on to the rest of the cards!
