So much inspiration comes from so many here on Splitcoast. I don't keep cards in my faves - gets to busy for my liking. I do however love the work of Loll Thompson, and her backgrounds are so inspiring. Loll's gallery for those who want inspiration: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
For this card I used a sea sponge to layer the Viva Decor colours for my background, first mixing them together on my mat then sponging them on. I used the Platinum to stencil the branch and wishing sentiment and a mixture of the blue and jade for the bird, which is styled and on a foam dot. I die cut the piece with Spellbinders Card Creator, then used a smaller die and embossed around the frame. Prima Crystals, Some Pearls dotting the "i"s and a small crystal gem for the birds eye to finish. Thanks for having a look.

I love the beautiful shades of blue and green you used to sponge your background and create that sweet little bird - so beautiful with the white. This is outstanding!
