Toni's challenge this week is to use scraps on our craft table to make a card. Sounds like it should be easy and fun...not so much for this gal. Made a card from the tutorial featured today..decorative corner card. Mine looked like an over decorated tepee. Plan B...on my desk are all the quotes that I practice writing with my fountain pen. Some day my dream is to write like Audrie(girlgeek). Needed to make a thank-you card for my SIL who is hosting Thanksgiving tomorrow. This quote fits her perfectly. She has more integrity in her little finger than most people have in their whole body. Stamped some leaves, scored lines and added the gold. For all the US stampers...Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families. TFL

Linda, this is a very lovely thank you card. I'm totally impressed with the writing, I actually thought it was a stamp. Your script writing looks perfect to me! Nice touch with the leaves in the corners.

So while you aspire to write like Audrie, I will aspire to write like you! I think it is so brave to use your own writing on a card. I am not fond of my own. I love the gold accents here.

I loved your newsy write-up, Linda! I write like a child, unfortunately and I am surrounded by people with wonderful handwriting.....esp my SIL! Anyway....your card is lovely understated elegance....and so thoughtful. I think your hand writing is beautiufl. It's not as nice as my SIL's though.....LOL!!!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
life is something that happens only when you run out of cardstock
