Congratulations to Kimberly, mkkimber, today's FS. I was inspired by her card here & by this from Audrie's Pintrest board IC from yesterday.
FS Kim - I used the same stamp set but chose the rose stamp because I still have pink roses in my flower bed! I also kept your basic design but changed the location of the sentiment, left off the ribbon & hardware. I also embossed my back panel.
IC Audrie - I tried watercolor by stamping off for a lighter image. I scribbled Distress Markers on an acrylic block & painted the roses. I used a toothbrush for splatters in the pink & green. I also did some water splatter but they really don't show up. I hope they look like roses to you ... I need more practice.
Kim, enjoy your time in the spotlight.
Thanks Julie & Audrie for inspiring sites.
Thanks for stopping by ...

SO pretty, Karen! You still have flowers?? We don't even have leaves, lol. Except on my deck where I have to sweep every day. Well, I take that back..one poor geranium in a pot on the deck is still hanging on for dear life. I think I'll put it in the garage.
