For my card today...it's for a bridal shower. The challenges are fun, looking back at cards made in 2010.Needing a bridal shower card...started with the sentiment...sketched the scene, water colored. The background was made with the shavings from my blue aqua pencil. Finished painting..added the tiny punched out flowers. Embossed with a border folder. Added the ribbon corners and bow. Usually don't combine challenges, but this will work for the mixability challenge...abundance...flowers, two mediums watercolor and acrylic paint. TFL

Linda this is so creative and lovely! I love the flowers peeking out from the trees and the tiny butterflies taking flight....great sentiment, too. OOO I also like the embossing around the edges

Linda, this is fabulous. You really sketch scenes so beautifully. Those butterflies are so sweet, as are the little flowers. Wish I could sketch a tree like you.

Well, you've outdone yourself on this beauty, Linda, and the bride to be that receives this will have a real treasure as a keepsake of her shower. Your sketching and painting are always so beautiful, and I love the embossed left edge, the score lines and the beautiful pink flowers growing in among the trees.
