How peaceful the world looks at the old barn...surely not a sound to be heard. Only the moon glistening over the snow. How wonderful if the world had such peace.
Challenges:
F4A300-Looking back to the beginning. I did challenge F4A1-colors, textures and optional patterns. My texture is in the corrugated board I've used and distressed. I also have some snow in the trees. We should use at least one color we don't normally use. I rarely use Victorian Velvet, Paris Dusk, or Purple Hydrangea.
CT1115-Long Winter's Nap-explore things like bare branches, hibernating creatures, naps. Of course, you can see I have bare branches.
I stamped my image, then sponged my snow using a die from Taylored Expressions called Rolling Hills. I just twist it around to the desired position. The barn was colored with Copics. After masking the moon with a circle punched piece of paper, I sponged the sky. The mask was removed to reveal that big moon and I sponged it.
A Snow Writer was used to place snow in trees.
I think this could be a masculine card....or not.

This is a very peaceful and serene scene Brenda....certainly something the world could use I agree. Your sky is amazing with that deep rich blue heading down to the lighter shades of purple and lighter blue. Love how you did the snow and how you made a road or drive leading up to the barn.

Thanks for this beautiful card today...the peaceful feeling to the card is awesome. When looking at your card...peaceful thoughts came to mind. Wouldn't this be wonderful if this was reality. Love the painting of the sky and abandoned barn. TFS

Amazing work, Brenda! I love the shadows in the snow, the drive you created up to the barn and that outstanding sky/moon you created. The snow writer sounds like a cool tool to have! I can picture the cows and horses cozy and sleeping in this quiet barn.

Beautiful card, Brenda....in a style that I find hard to identify....a little "country" and a little "contemporary". So eye-catching with your intensely colored sky.
