For today's Ways To Use It challenge to create something cooking-related. I've never actually known anyone who cooled pies on windowsills, but that image is always appealing to me - IRL, my dog would get the pie if I ever attempted this : )

Gorgeous card with this pie in the window & lovely ribbon! My mom use to put her pies in the window when we were growing up. One time our dog jumped up and got into one and all we heard was howling!!

LOL at the dog getting it. I have cooled stuff outside, but modern houses don't have windowsills deep enough to take a pie! I love the bright happy feel to this - and your bow is gorgeous.

I love this Lockhart stamp, Claudia, and you colored it so well! My grandmother used to make pies for her father's restaurant (80 in the AM before she went off to school!!!), and when I wanted pie for breakfast, she'd make one, and we'd eat it! How fab is that??? Never any measuring. Hmmm...........maybe this is where my sweet DGD got it!!?!

Your card is gorgeous! As a young child, I recall placing pies and home made fudge outside to cool. I lived in an area where the weather was cold enough to have the desired effect. Oh the memories! Your card certainly awakens the memories. TFS!
