To make my card, I did a watercolor wash using a Tombow marker scribbled onto an acrylic block. I added some water on a brush to pick up the ink and spread across a piece of watercolor paper. I stamped the sentiment from A Jillian Vance Design with Versafine Onyx Black.
Using more watercolor paper, I cut some leaves with some leaf dies from A Jillian Vance Design. I sponged a variety of dye inks onto the leaves and added water with a brush to spread the colors.
Once the leaves were dry, I applied glue stick to the leaves and sprinkled UTEE powder ont the leaves and applied heat with a heat gun. This gives the appearance of droplets of water on the leaves. I then arranged the leaves on the card.
Thank you so much for looking!

I was surprised at first when I clicked to your inspiration - I wasn't expecting a whimsical little giraffe. But I love how your mind works and how you've interpreted the colours to create a completely different (and yet clearly inspired) card!
