I'm on a kick if you haven't noticed....I was playing around with the technique yesterday for the Free For All. I've called this a miss because I think I rather missed the point on this, which was my first try. I stamped my flourished with Old Olive onto the negative side of the ef. I then ran it through. It worked, but really could have been accomplished the same way by just stamping after embossing...the technique shines better when you stamp inside the area that will be embossed. I sponged over the roses. I had the already embossed sentiment so just layered it and added the ribbon accent.

This is really pretty! I thought the same about my card - that it could have mostly been accomplished stamping after embossing, but some of your flourishes go into the embossing. I do love the way this turned out, though! The sponging of color on the roses is really pretty!
Just stopping back to say congrats on the Chic and Savvy Crafters win! I won too! I'm so excited but cant even say thanks right now. Their site is down for maintenance!
