I started off with a white tag, dry embossed with script. I used inka gold to highlight the top of the embossing. I decided I wanted to have colour rather than the white background, so I sprayed the tag with red watercolour spray. I was surprised that the inka gold acted as a resist. It is water soluble when still a paste, but once it dries, it is permanent. A happy accident to learn something new.
I sponged more red around the tag to give it more of a random look. Unfortunately the photo makes it look all one solid red, but there are areas of different shading.
I sponged more inka gold onto white card stock and then die-cut my poinsettia. I shaped the petals before gluing the layers together to give it lots of dimension.
The scribble circle under the poinsettia is a gift from my sweet friend Barb Â… I sponged it in red ink and then coated it with red glitter glue. Red glittler glue was also used for the center of my poinsettia.
To finish, I added a gold stamped sentiment banner to the bottom, and dyed white seam binding red.
