Here is another example of using Yupo with alcohol inks. Here you see a portion of a background that I did. The gecko is even done with Yupo and alcohol inks, then die cut.
I am not good at watercoloring, that's why I sent some of this to Sallie.
Versa Fine ink DOES NOT work on the Yupo, it doesn't dry completely, it will smear. I know, I tried it. I tried heat drying (which you can do to some extant), dabbing with a paper towel over and over, and it still smeared.
By all means, don't be afraid of trying Yupo. It's pretty forgiving since it is polypropylene.

WOW, Jennifer....this is FABULOUS! Love the bg which looks like lapis lazuli to me. The gecko looks terrific in these warm tones against the blue. You are an inspiration!! Thanks! : )

This looks so beautiful! I have some Yupo in my Amazon basket. I'm glad to see how lovely it looks with alcohol inks, as watercolours certainly aren't my forte.
