For today's 'CASE in Point' TLC, I chose to do a salted background once again. I thought I needed more practice & I still think that! Maybe I didn't use enough color, but you can only see the result of the salt at certain angles. And it still doesn't stamp smoothly. Maybe next time I'll use it for one of my big word dies!! To me I see no improvement in my technique! Yikes, what a critic!! I do like the card! Here's my original card, that I wasn't happy with either!
Thanks for stopping by.

Oh Karen, I need a LOT of practice with this technique. I have tried so many different combinations so often. Sadly I got the best results with my most expensive fleurs de sel from France, so I don't try very often. So don't worry, I think it's one of those techniques that is really easy for some people and not for others ;-). I think you ended up with a lovely card, and even if you're not happy with the salt effect I sure hope you're happy with the card.

I love your tree and especially the soft muted colors in your background. The card looks great to me - I've only ever used salt once and I cant even remember how that turned out, so though I am no expert, I think you did a great job.
